About Me

Hey there, I'm Prish! I'm studying Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan with a minor in Economics. I love solving complex problems and making systems work smarter, not harder.

I've helped reimagine experiences for 100,000+ people, co-founded a biotech startup for disease detection, and created dashboards that streamline hospital reporting. My passion is applying engineering principles to real-world challenges.

When I'm not problem-solving, you'll find me watching the Celtics and Lions, skiing, or traveling.

Publications

Assessing the Potential of Generative AI Models as Participatory Design Tools

American Nuclear Society 25th Winter ConferenceNovember 9-12, 2025Washington, DCCo-author

Research exploring how text-to-image generation tools visually respond to user-provided prompts in energy systems design. The study investigates the accuracy of AI-generated images in reflecting user intentions and their potential integration in participatory design frameworks as rapid prototyping methods.

Integrating Public Perspectives in Microreactor Facility Design

American Nuclear Society 25th Winter ConferenceNovember 9-12, 2025Washington, DCCo-author

Study examining community engagement in nuclear facility design through workshops with Southeast Michigan residents. The research explores how public participation can be meaningfully integrated into the design and licensing process of future nuclear projects.

FAQ

Are you currently open to internships or freelance work?

Yes! I'm actively looking for opportunities in both technical and consulting fields where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow.

How did you get into engineering and consulting?

It started with my passion for building robots. Eventually, I joined and later became president of my robotics club. Through that experience, I discovered how much I enjoy applying technical skills to real-world challenges. I learned that being an engineer isn't just about technology, it's about creating people-first solutions, much like a consultant.

What kind of projects do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy working on interdisciplinary projects that blend technical implementation with strategic thinking. I'm especially drawn to projects that challenge me to learn new approaches and think across disciplines.

Why did you build this website?

This site is both a portfolio and a passion project. It reflects my skills, shares my work, and offers a glimpse into how I approach problem solving and design.

What are you currently learning or working on?

Right now, I'm diving deeper into machine learning and sharpening my skills in data visualization and storytelling. I'm also a research assistant exploring public sentiment around nuclear energy using AI and ML, and I serve as a peer advisor in the College of Engineering, helping incoming students adjust to their first year.

How can I contact you?
